Born in New Zealand to industrious Cambodian-Thai parents, Anna grew up immersed in the flavours and rituals of hospitality first at bustling weekend markets, then in the family’s Thai restaurant in Wellington. It was here she discovered the joy, culture, and power of food to connect and bring people together.

Ambition carried her into a 15-year career in Brisbane's private banking world, but those formative kitchen memories stayed close. Eventually, they drew her back not just to food, but to creating a place where people could connect, celebrate, and feel at home.

 

That purpose now guides Melrose’s rooftop sanctuary in Bulimba, where vibrant Pan-Asian dishes meet cocktails mixed for conversation, and a wine list tuned to every flavour.
